I am so excited to have this book on the shelf! It is my first venture into the DIY thing, so while I made every effort not to make mistakes, I will ask for your understanding for the ones I didn’t catch! (I am always open to helpful advice)
Some of you were involved in the Halloween promotional video we made with Tim Curry and the Shadows Project, Limited, on YouTube that got 1800 hits in just a few days. He is a contributor to Journeys with a non-fiction account of what he does, and its fascinating. He promotes writers and their stories using video!
He is making one for the Journeys Anthology and I am really delighted with the turn out. I am so proud of you guys. Many of you stepping out of your comfort zones and challenging yourselves. I, for one, am not very good at that, but you have inspired me!
I just hate that I am so comfortable in my pajama days and isolation. It is irrelevant to the story, I know, but it is sometimes like my life is on hold … while life still goes on around me. (The plus side of that is I am 50,000 words into my second novel ☺) I never thought about being too comfortable (stagnating) until I lost family members in the last few months and realized how removed I am from the life I used to live.
To make a long story short, I have decided to challenge myself. I am going to acually get dressed most days, make the dang video. I am going to submit to the trad publishers and agents without fear, but if my book hasn’t sold by June of next year … I am going to publish it myself.
I have made some decisions I am really excited about, and you are all a part of it ... so thank you!

I sent an email Saturday to tell everyone we were going to do the promotional video, and the response was wonderful! Many made a video or audio file and shot it to me on Messenger or by email and I forwarded it to Tim. Some used the “we transfer” method below. I really appreciate all of you. I think this is going to be a wonderful avenue of donation to a worthy cause, Dr.'s Without Borders.
