Hello Everyone!
I am so excited! As expected by early voting “Journey Through Time” will be this year’s Anthology Theme. We had lots of votes this year. I was happy to see so many participating! Thank you!
HERE WE ARE YEAR FIVE! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
This will be the OFFICIAL CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS, and it will continue until we are full. Kerri Jesmer and I will be the Editorial Staff again this year.
· Submissions can begin immediately, September 7, 2025.
· Previously published is acceptable as long as your copyright has reverted to you. Please label previously published so I can attribute the original publication.
· I prefer Shunn Format. Please.
· Poetry, (No minimum or max) Short Stories. 4,000 to 5,000 words maximum. 1,000 minimum.
· Provide a picture and bio with your submission. It takes me so long to go back and ask for these.
· Please include your PayPal/CashApp since the debacle trying to get copies to everyone this year I will send a token payment of $20.00 each instead.
· All submissions should be emailed to emcarnegie1956@gmail.com with Journeys in the Subject Line.
Journey Through Time will be an interesting anthology theme. It can be speculative, sci-fi, paranormal… filled with almost endless ideas and can be whatever suits the theme as long as time travel of some kind is involved.
Many of you included suitable stories for this theme in the past, but please do not resubmit stories already published in previous Journeys Anthologies. If you have a sequel or continuation of a story previously published with us that is fine!
Please do not resubmit stories or poetry already published in previous Journeys Anthologies.
Happy Happy Writing Everyone! I can’t wait to start reading!
If there are any questions email, PM or otherwise flag us down… Kerri or I and will do our best to help.
Many thanks to all of you who have contributed time and work to make this Anthology happen through the years.
Elaine

Journey Through Time feels reflective and immersive, encouraging readers to think about how stories evolve across eras. For anyone documenting similar narratives or creative projects, has anyone tried to buy product descriptions online for structured storytelling? I recently came across PayssomeoneTo and wondered how others approach organizing written content.
Congratulations on year five that’s a huge milestone, and the enthusiasm really shows. The flexibility of the theme and clear guidelines are encouraging for contributors. I do wonder whether first-time authors might seek Academic manuscript editing help, perhaps from peers or groups like Academic Editors, just to polish submissions before sending.
The way your post explores the layers of time really resonates with the patience needed in research writing. Each draft evolves like a story unfolding. I’ve found that working with academic editors for Research proposal proofreading and editing similarly uncovers nuances I might have missed, strengthening the overall clarity.
I've got the idea and an outline started. Great topic, Elaine!
